ChewToy is an adult Russian tortoise of unknown age that had been found and rescued from a dog attack. We treated and nursed his wounds and he’s making a full recovery. As an unclaimed stray, he is now looking for a home that will love him in spite of his vicious scars. He can be shy and quiet, spending time in his hide, but with lots of heat and light, he’s back to digging, running,  and basking like a champ. 
On trips outside, he loves exploring and can mow through clover with abandon! An ideal enclosure is 8-10 square feet for an adult of this species.
