Rawr is an adult ball python who’s approximately 7-10 years old. You may recognize Rawr from last year when he was available for adoption! He did spend a short while in a new home, but even though his adopter had agreed to a calmer and quieter location in their home, he ended up being housed in an overly busy and chaotic area with small children. That’s definitely not his favorite thing. He’s kept downstairs in our reptile room where he is out of high traffic and noise volumes to keep him feeling peaceful and serene. 
He’s available to a great new home with no small and high energy children where he can truly develop his personality and bond with his owner. He eats frozen/thawed small rats easily, so long as things remain calm and he can stay focused on the task at hand. He really is a handsome ol’ cinnamon bun with a sweet and gentle personality. We are currently treating him for a mild case of scale rot to his belly (because his favorite thing is marinating day and night 🙄), and have taken away his soaking bowl for the time being. It should quickly resolve and clean with his next shed. We’ll update when this is complete, but it shouldn’t affect desired adoptions.
